I ran across a historical scrapbook in an antique & collectibles market. Upon opening of the book there was a picture of a beautiful lady wearing a pen with the name "McCormick" on it. Names and family pictures in this large "J.W. Losse" book are: Frank Shaw, Cora Shaw, Uncle Pearl Shaw (a picture at his gravesite, Maple Grove Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas) with Pauline Shaw and grandma Shaw there in the picture, also an inscription that says "This goes to Richard Clay Eckland when am thru with it, Leah, May 2, 1964. Also, another inscription reads "This book is not to be sold, please keep in family." There are also many, many newspaper clippings, mostly early 1900's, presidental, local, and family news. I would hate to see this book get away from it's family. This book can be found, as of June 14, 1997, at the "Front Porch" @ Holliday Island, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Phone (501)253- 6557

KS Her husband, Ephraim Harrison died in 1859 in Lyon Co., KS and was buried in Chase Co., KS in the Hunter Cemetery along with her father and mother, Orlean DAGGETT and Elizabeth (RIMA) DAGGETT When Mary Ann died in October of 1888 in Sedgwick Co. and she was not buried in Kansas, even though her children and grandchildren were living there.
