Seeking information on Richard E. MEEK and Amma (HUGHES) family in Republic
Co. They lived between Scandia and Courtland from 1899 to 1910. Richard and
Amma came from Illinois in 1886 and lived in Thomas Co. KS. They then moved
to Republic Co. and then to Osage co in 1910. Richard died in 1914. Children
were Arlie, Frank, John, Myrtle, Goldie, Harry, Clarence, Birdie, and Dollie.
John and Clarence farmed in Whiterock twp. John married a Nellie Baeur?? and
moved to Formosa. He then moved to Osage Co and took over the farm before 1918
after Richard died. I would like to share info on this family.

I am looking for information on a Hurley family who lived on a farm close to
Republic Kansas. The first names that I know of are Alice, Anastasia, Frank,
George, James, John and William. These were all brother and sister. The family
had come from Ireland with a stop in Illinois first. The parents names are unknown
