KS FlagBios on Our Scottish Ancestors in KANSAS Scottish Flag
.

In 1883 A Standard History of Kansas and Kansans written and compiled by William E. Connelley was published.  Some of the following bios are from the BIOGRAPHY INDEX of that publication; and others are found at various sites.  The Baxter Springs Middle School students and their instructors are transcribing William Connelley's biographies. New links are being added as the transcriptions are completed and put on-line.  You may want to check the Biography Index periodically for ancestors of other backgrounds.

If you know more information about the following individuals and would be willing to share that information with others, please send the information including the source to: Patricia Adams, 828 N. 70 Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
