BEHRENS I'm trying to find information regarding my great grandfather and grandmother, Charles and Theresa(?) Behrens from Elk City, Kansas, around the turn of the century. I know "Mrs. Behrens" is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery (from notes my aunt had). Is there any way to find out? Possibly through a look up? Charles Behrens had something to do with the flour mill(?) in Elk City. He left and lived in the Chicago area between 1910 and 1920, and was in both census reports as living with his son-in-law. Apparently my grandmother, Otillia Behrens spent a lot of time in Elk City also. I have a girl's "album" with lots of signatures of her friends in Elk City, from visits there. For some reason, she lived with her grandparents in Alton, Ill. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Sylvia Harper Nelson Oct 1997

He was a "Preacher," the son of P.B. and Nancy Darling, both also buried at Cherryvale. P.B. was born in 1835 in Jackson Co., Ohio, died in 1905. Any other relatives there from P.B.'s line?
