Topic: FRY, LOHMANN, MITCHELL
From: John Lohman jlohman@txdirect.net
Date: Thursday, February 18, 1999 12:43 PM

I am searching for information about the ancestors and descendants of Herman L. FRY. Hermann Married my aunt Emma LOHMANN in Freestone County, Texas on June 6, 1896. Herman L. FRY was a legal agent and superintendent in 1905 for the Iola Mining and Milling Company In Iola, Kansas (George A. FRY, president). There may be another company facility in Zinc, Arkansas. On 1/1/1906 the family was in Dodd City, Marion County, Arkansas.
Hermann and Emma had a daughter, Ruby Alpha, born April 9, 1902 at an unknown Location. Post cards and family letters indicate that Herman and Ruby Alpha were in Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas in the 1920's. Ruby A. studied Stenography and Bookkeeping. Graduated Coffeyville H.S. 5/19/21. She may have gone to Kansas University.
Emma died at an unknown location at an unknown date. Hermann remarried a lady whose given name was Maude. Hermann, Maude and Ruby lived together in Montgomery County. Ruby Alpha was visited in Coffeyville by two of Emma's sisters, Kate Lohmann MITCHELL and Anna LOHMANN. It is possible that Kate and Anna settled in Montgomery County. If you have any questions or information please contact John Lohman, 7519 Shadylane Drive, San Antonio, TX 78209 USA. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
