Query Surnames: Jones

Date: 20 July 2004

Query: I'm trying to find the burial place of Eliza (Dennis) Jones who it is believed was institutionalized at the Osawatamie State Hospital. She is from Nemaha County, Kansas but I've not been able to find any record of her buried there. She would have been born about 1866 and was named Eliza E. Dennis (she was probably actually adopted by the Dennis family after her parents were killed by Indians and might have been born as Wheeler). It is believed she died June 28, 1896. Her husband was Henry R. Jones, who immediately married a much younger woman. If you able to shed any light on this situation for me, please write.
