I was curious if this Effie LaRue Covington Mallory was some how related to the Larreau family that settled in Jewell City, KS from Quebec? If so, I was also trying to determine the parents of Ella May Wallace who married Frank Delbert Larreau. It is said that she was related to some sort of state representative or senator from KS.

May 8, 1885, to Alexander and Laura Reeve, a daughter was born. She was named Maudessa. When she was 3 years of age, she was taken into the Charlie Cole family where she grew up to be known as Maud Cole. She was born and grew to womanhood in Mankato, KS. On Sep 5, 1903, she was married to James Ewing McDaniel. To this union 4 daughters and 2 sons were born. They were Emma, Mable, Alice, Mary, Don and Dick. After the death of her first husband, she married Zay Vermillion on Sep 24, 1929. She died in her home northeast of Mankato on May 31, 1947. She was buried in the Mt Hope Cemetery. Do these names sound familiar to any users????

Julia,
What little I do know is what I have on a page of images that I have on my McIndoo Homepage at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mcindoo/jewellcounty/jewell.htm
At image #19, I believe are a mention of Lela, Lulu and Earl Lamb. They are mentioned in the same school souvenir as my grandfather Ray McIndoo and my great uncle Jay McIndoo, who were students, and my great grandfather James Edward McIndoo. I don't know if this will be any help but this is the only surname of the ones you mentioned that I can help with at all. Please contact me at dmcindoo@email.msn.com to let me know if this was any help at all.
