Hello everyone,
I just received my copy of the Jewell County cemetery indexes recorded and compiled by the North Central Kansas Genealogy Society. I will gladly do lookups in these indexes for your Jewell County families.

You probably will get faster response if you email me directly at mad_genealogist@yahoo.com It helps me if you would put Jewell County Cemetery in the subject.

Please keep in mind that I am a full time student, wife & mom, so there may be some times (read major tests, projects or finals week)when I won't be able to respond promptly. Ardie

We just drove through Otego about 6 weeks ago. There is basically nothing left there. About the only old building standing is the old post office and it's in really sad shape.

Who are you looking for in Otego?

My families there are Rafferty and Bernard.

You might want to contact these newspapers and see if they will search for an obituary. The obit should list what cemetery he is buried in.
