BROWN. HOWARD. Looking for info on my greatgrandparents, RILEY BROWN and DELILAH HOWARD from Crawford County , Ark. They had four children, EVA LELA BROWN born May 22, 1904, CLYDE BROWN born Nov. 22,1915, LUDIE BROWN born in 1913 and another unknown, all born in Alma. RILEY and DELILAH must have both been deceased by 1920 since the younger children were in an orphan's home by that time. Later in life EVA is said to have gone back to Crawford County to visis an Uncle Jim.Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information on WILLIAM P. MORROW, who was the father of BENJAMIN ALLEN MORROW (Ben married OLLIE C. HARRIS). William was (according to the 1900-1920 census) born in INDIANA, as were both parents. He may have had a sister NANCY MORROW who married JAMES W. JONES. There was also a nephew named IKE (ISAAC) MORROW, born in AR. I don't know his father's or his mother's names. This is all the the information I have on the Morrows, other than below: Here is the 1900 census of the William P. AR Lee A.C., Daughter, born December 1884, age 15, Single, b.AR Luella, Daughter, born October 1886, age 13, born AR ** Benjamin, Son, born June 1888, age 11, born AR Mary S., Daughter, born February 1892, age 8, born AR Isaac Morrow Nephew, born December 1886, age 13, born AR, father born IN, mother born Arkansas. The following are the children and grandchildren of BENJAMIN and OLLIE (HARRIS) MORROW: Geneva Morrow; born October 14, 1908 and died of influenza November 24, 1910. Josie (or Jossie) Morrow; born March 25, 1910 and died of diarrhea June 12, 1911. Charles Matthew Morrow; born April 4, 1912; married Nancy Edith Phillips. Sheri Gale Morrow (1961), married George Roberts, with three children: Tiffany (1979), Gordon (1982), and Nanthaniel (1985) Roberts. Patricia Morrow, married Tommy Moody. Bennie Lee Morrow. Oneida Morrow Neighbors; born 1917; married Raymond Jesse Neighbors December 28, 1935. They had two children: Patsy Ann Neighbors (Oct. 31, 1936), married Jake Pikens (July 22, 1933), with two children, Brenda (1953) and Jamie Robert (July 22, 1968) Pickens. Debbie Rae Neighbors (June 5, 1959), married Del Allen Gann (Jan. 12, 1956) with two children: Shannan Renee (7/6/81) and Adam Kyle (7/31/89)Gann. Bill Morrow; born August 13, 1919, married Pauline Jones October 15, 1940; he died March 5, 1985. They had no children. Robert Bruce Morrow; born February 20, 1928, married Nettie Gean Duke (born March 10, 1930) March 2, 1950. He died July 22, 1970. They had four children: Janet Carole Morrow; born April 5, 1954. She has has a son, Robert Austin Wood, born November 13, 1979. Philip Duke Morrow; born April 15, 1958. He has two sons, Phillip Allen, born August 21. 1982, and Garrett Duke Morrow, born May 12, 1988. Phyllis Gail Morrow; born August 2, 1960. She married Scott Shiverly, born 1956. Dwight Allen Morrow; born March 17, 1962. He has one son, Blake Anthony Morrow, born December 1, 1993. Anyone with any information or leads about this Morrow family would be so appreciated.

On July 16, 1948, I was born James Michael Harris in Ft. Smith. My mother remarried and around 1953 my then step-father adopted me and changed my last name to Smith. My mothers family was from Van Buren and their las name was Lawrence. The closest information that I can put together has my fathers name as James A. Harris and was assumed to be from Ft. Smith. Does anyone have any information?

I am looking for anyone who might have some information about my great- grandfather, William T. Morgan, who according to our family legends, was a judge in Crawford County during the eighteen-eighties or nineties. He had a sister Molly, possibly Margaret, and a brother, George. His parents, name unknown, reportedly owned a gristmill at Alma. Any light shed on this question will be appreciated! He died in 1930 in Marin County, California. He was born around 1843.

Looking for information on Elizabeth Ann or Anna (SUTTON) JOHNSON, wife of James M. JOHNSON. She was born abt. 1850-51 in Miami Co.,IN where she married James Johnson in 1867. They moved to Crawford Co., KS in early 1880's and were still living there in 1890's. Had a daughter Lorretta who married William McCracken, also had sons Jesse and Phillip JOHNSON and another daughter Dora, who married Harry Bryan. Daughter Lorretta is buried in Farlington Cemetery.
