W. S. Ruble Passes Away

 

            Sunday evening, W. S. Ruble, and old soldier and early settler, passed away and his remains were taken to Elk City where they were laid to rest.  He was a farmer near Elk City for years and after retiring he moved to this city and took an active part with his old comrades in the G. A. R. and at one time was commander of the Post of this city.  He leaves only a wife.  The funeral was held at the United Brethren Church Tuesday.
