After several weeks of severe suffering David E. Given gave up life’s struggles at his home in South Lebo, Kansas, June 7th, 1900, in the 62d year of his age.  He was born Oct. 7, 1838, in New York Co., Pa.  In the fall of 1864 he enlisted at his country’s call in the 3d Pa.
