HOWALD---Christian Howald, 73 years old, died at his home, 1509 University Avenue, Thursday following a short illness. He was a retired farmer and came from Cairo, Kas., eleven years ago. He is survived by one son, W. A. Howald, and one daughter, Mrs. Ettle Carey. He was a member of Eggleston Post G. A. R. Funeral services will be held from the Gill Funeral Home Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
