I am researching my CHITTENDEN Family Line and have found a posting for an Oak Hill Cemetery, located in the village of Chautauqua, in Belleville Township, that my be my family.  My 3rd Great Grandfather, Daniel Barrett CHITTENDEN, was born in KY about 1827.  He married Ann Eliza MASON in Brown Co, Indiana on August 22, 1847.  Ann was born about 1832 in KY.  From census' I have learned that Daniel was a Physician.  Their children are: Emma, Mary, Frank, Belle, and John, born in either IN or IL. Cemetery posting are as follows:

Seeking any and all information on Charles Martin McIntire b. 1852, Dixfield, ME, d. c.1926, Arkansas City, KS. (Cowley County) He came to Kansas with his parents, Timothy and Catherine Jane McIntire via the Emigrant Aid Company of Mass, in Nov. 1854, and settled in what is now Topeka, KS. (Brekenridge, Shawnee County). He moved with is parents to Emporia (Lyon County) in 1858 where he lived on a farm south and east of Emporia. In 1872, he moved to Arkansas City where he grew up. He worked for the Arkansas City Traveler (newspaper) and started a number of ventures in the newspaper trade. In 1879 he purchased the Arkansas Valley Democrat an 8 page weekly newspaper in Arkansas City, and in 1881 hired his father, Timothy, to be the editor. He sold the news paper in 1897. Over the years, he either established or tried to establish newspapers in Ark City (Cowley county), Cedar Vale, KS (Chautauqua County) and in various places in Cowley County. He later worked for the city of Arkansas City and started a number of other business ventures. He and some business partners floated a boat down the Arkansas River with an eye toward establishing commercial trade on the river. He married Laura May GREGG in Arkansas City, KS He died in Arkansas City in about 1926. He had two brothers, Albert Timothy McIntire and George Henry McIntire, who was the Sheriff of Cowley County (1884 to 1888), Justice of the Peace, policeman and constabulary of Ark City, and one sister Betsy Jane OSGOOD.

I'm looking for any information available about Jacob S. Ness (1824-1909) and Angelina Ness (1829-1910).  They lived in Hewins and were buried in Ozro Falls cemetery. I believe Angelina's grandmother, Sarah Van Dalsem may also have lived with them.

I am trying to find the parents of David Austin Shorb b. Nov 21,1880, Harrison, Chautauqua Co., Kansas  died Apr 30,1960 Costa Mesa, CA. He was married to Molly Thorne. David Austin Shorb was a brother to John Shorb, my great grandfather and uncle to my grandfather, Mathew David Shorb/Sharb. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

My mother was an O'Neill from Ponca City OK, but I understand that some of her family lived in Chautauqua County.  Some of the names are - Daniel Woodworth, died 1932? (my great grandfather) - Lizzie Belle Woodworth (186?-1965) (my grandmother) - Edward O'Neill (188?-1935)  (my grandfather) - Mattie Pyles (Daniel's wife) - Brother Woodworth   I have some pictures and letters, but not sure if they lived in your county.
