LOCAL NEWS: The Messers Theodore and John Bailey and Miss May Worth of Pekin, IL are the guest of Jake Bailey this week.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Chester I. Land, a 10 pound baby girl Saturday morning.
Mrs. E.M. Potter of Neal and Mrs. Lucy Jackson of Colorado are visiting with H.E. Potter and family this week.
SOUTH FAIRVIEW: Miss Mabel Cummings visited her aunt Mrs. Johnson last Thursday.
OSAGE VALLEY: The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Warren died the first of the week vary suddenly. It had never been sick, but was found dead in its bed. The funeral was held Wednesday at the Fairview Church where it was laid to rest.
Mr. Densmore moved his family to Iola where they will reside in the future.
Jim Tate from Lomgton is visiting his mother, Mrs. J.J.Wolfe.
BETHEL: We were sorry to hear of the death of Mr. Vanlandingham last week.
NORTH FAIRVIEW: Miss Zora Patterson of Iola was visiting in this vicinity last Thursday. She was en route to Eve to visit her sister Mrs. R.H. Davis.
Miss Willa Russell is visiting her Grandma Purdom at present.
UNIONTOWN: Miss Bird Mylus made a short visit with her sister Mrs. Stroud on Monday.
Mrs. A.L. Dark, Mrs. Klockson and daughter Mary of Pawnee visited with Mrs. J.L. Sprague on Thursday and Friday.
LIMESTONE: Laura Wright, Lizzie Land and Mollie Carl took dinner with their parents J.C. Wilson and wife last Monday. Chester Land was at J.C. Wilsons visiting Monday, my how he did laugh, there was a baby at his house, mother and child doing well.
ROCKY POINT: Willis Tennyson’s have moved to Uniontown. Louis White and wife will move on the place vacated by Mr. Tennyson. Gertrude Tennyson of Uniontown spent Friday with Grandma Tennyson and Flora McKinnis.
Mrs. Sigel McKinnis started to MO Sunday for a visit with her brother who is very ill with consumption.
