Query: William Coyan and his wife, Elizabeth Jackson moved to Bourbon County ca the 1870's. Childrens names were William James, George, Hugh John, Robert, Jackson and daughter Mary Ann Garrett who lived in Iowa. ROUTH (1827-1873) and Mary SMITH (1830-1907) and Amanda Jane ROBBINS (1854-1886), dau of William ROBBINS and Sarah Catherine FLETCHER. Marion and Amanda had eight children: John W. ROUTH (1871-1953). who was living in FT Scott. I believe they are the children of Marsha McCAMISH who married Robert TOWLES. They were in attendance of Marsha's sister Josie HIATT's

Query: Leon LOCKE, once a mayor of Fulton, Bourbon, KS, was b. in Oxford County, ME, in about 1869. His parents moved to KS when he was an infant. Who were his parents? James M Hagans was married in Bourbon Co. Kansas on 25 May 1857 to Delilah Jane Reook. We have not been able to find the parents of Delilah and think that her last name was misspelled. Does anyone have any information on this family or a name that could be the right spelling.
