Obituary of LULA CARROLL

(no date given but it is attached to a Killed in action notice for 1942-43)

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church for Mrs. Lula CARROLL who passed away Friday morning, Nov 12 in a Fairbury Hospital, where she had been the past month.

The many friends of Mrs. CARROLL will be sorry to learn of her death. She had lived in Washington practically all her life and she had a host of friends.

For many years she was an efficient clerk in the Granger Store here and by her pleasing personality, and kindly service to the customers she gained many lasting friends.
