Obituary of JONAH MARTIN ELLIOTT |
ELLIOTT #2 Jonah Martin ELLIOTT was born in Morris Co., IA Oct 16, 1877 and died at Washington, KS, Aug 29,1932 in the fifty-fifth year of his age. June 8, 1899 he was happily married to Mary Jennett MOORE, who for thirty-three years has been his faithful companion, sharing life's joys and sorrows with him. She is now left sad and lonely by his sudden departure. To them were born four children, Henry Martin of One sister preceded him in death. He has one aunt, two uncles and many friends who sorrow over his sad departure. His death falls heaviest on a dear old mother, who has loved him with a
mother's love, as only mothers can love, for fifty-five years. The weight
of fourscore years rests upon her enfeebled body and she had learned to
