Obituary of JOHN COX |
John COX, the youngest son of John and Rebecca COX was
born near where Frankfort, Kansas now stands, Sept 21, 1865 and departed
this life at his home near Haddam, Nov 28, 1932 at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 7 days. His father died before he was born and his mother moved to Haddam community in the year 1867 where he grew to manhood and was known far and near. He was united in marriage to Eliza CRAMER, of From this son he was never separated and they were constant companions
and partners in work and play. He united with the Methodist Protestant
Church of Haddam when about 20 years of age under the pastorate of Rev.
HANSON, second pastor of this church. He was on of the faithful |
