Obituary of JACOB C. ELLIOTT |
ELLIOTT #1 Jacob C. ELLIOTT, son of John and Rebecca ELLIOTT, was born near Quarryvillle, Lancaster Co., PA. Sept 9th, 1858, departed this life at his home near Haddam, Kansas April 13, 1930, aged 71 yrs, 7 mos, 4 days. He was married to Ida M. HOTFINE, 26th April, 1885, to this union was
born two children, Grace M. KING, of Haddam and William H. A lover of justice, peace and morality, was ever ready to help those in need, a good neighbor and kind friend. He was stricken with flu and a complication of diseases, all was done that medical skill could do but to no avail, after a short illness he passed peacefully away.
