Obituary of PAUL STRECKER |
Paul Strecker, 73, died Monday (14 February 1983) at
Central Kansas Medical Center. Born Aug. 23, 1909, he was a resident of
rural Hoisington. He married Hermine Anna Hoffman May 20, 1937, in Great
Bend. She preceded him in death, April 29 1980. He was a retired
farmer-stockman. Strecker was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Galatia. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Roscoe (Barbara) Merry of Dubois, Wyo.; Mrs. Steve (Melba) Haines of Great Bend and Mrs. Alan (Karen) Maier of Otis; three brothers, Alexander of Roswell, N.M., Jacob of Salina and Ferd of Lakewood, Colo,; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Newacheck of Russell, Mrs. Amelia Tittel of Great Bend and Mrs. Paulene Miller of Wichita; and six grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Galatia with the Rev. Robert S. Kreier officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Galatia. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or St. Paul's church. (Funeral Card) |
