Obituary of MARIE STEINERT
Mrs. Steinert's Illness is Fatal
Rites are Tomorrow for Life-Long Countian
Funeral services for Mrs. David Steinert, a life-long resident of Russell County, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Lutheran Church at Milberger. A brief service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Deines Funeral Home. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery.

Mrs. Steinert died at 9 a.m. yesterday (30 December 1956) at the Russell Hospital. She was 51. She had been ill about a year. For some time she was hospitalized in Kansas city. Five weeks ago she was admitted to the Russell Hospital

Born April 30, 1905, in southwest Russell County, Mrs. Steinert spent most of her life in the Milberger community. She was married April 2, 1923.
The couple lived on a farm near Milberger until 1949 when they moved here and established their home at 632 Lincoln St.

The Rev. August Pera will be in charge of the services. Mrs. Steinert was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors are the husband; one foster daughter, Mrs. Stella Baldwin of Great Bend; one sister, Mrs. Jacob Bauer of Russell; and four brothers, Henry Weideman of Ft. Collins, Colo., John and George Wiedeman of Wakeene, and Alex Wiedeman of Russell. Her parents and four brothers preceded her.
