Funeral Card for MARY ELIZABETH WAGNER |
Mary Elizabeth Wagner, Born May 27, 1894, at Schoenfeldt,
Russia. Died August 3, 1969 at Russell, Kansas. Age: 75 years, 2 months
and 7 days. The daughters of Henry H. and Elizabeth (Schneider) Wilhelm,
was baptized in June, 1894.
At the age of four her parents came to America to settle in Kansas. In 1900 the family moved to a farm near Hoisington, Kansas where he attended school, and on April 9, 1909, she was confirmed in The Schoenfildt Reformed Church. She graduated from Hoisington High School and taught school for one term. On May 11, 1919, she was united in marriage to Joseph Wagner at Otis, Kansas, and then started their home on a farm 7 miles north of Otis. There were 4 sons and 2 daughters born to this union. One daughter died
in infancy, and a son, Lester, died following an auto accident which also
resulted in the death of her husband in May of 1941. |
