HERMAN RADKE
Son of Edward Radke and Anna Elizabeth Karst, born August 15, 1903 in Barton County, Kansas.
He was baptized on September 13, 1903 in the Lutheran faith and was confirmed on March 24, 1918.
On November 22, 1929, Herman was united in marriage to Eugenie Theresa Dumler. This marriage was blessed with one son and one daughter.
Herman was engaged in the Massey-Ferguson farm equipment with his son and had been in the implement business since 1925 at Milberger.
He is survived by his wife, Eugenie, one son, Harlan, of Milberger; one daughter, Mrs. Leland (Angeline) Deutsch, of Hoisington; one sister, Mrs. Theo (Martha) Nuss, of Hoisington, four grandchildren; Steven, Kent and Kathryn Deutsch and Marsha Radke.
His parents preceded him in death in 1966. One sister, Lydia, preceded in death in 1956.
Devoted to his family, helpful to his neighbors, faithful to his church, considerate and honest, he gained respect and esteem of all who knew him."
