Funeral Card of ELENORA ROSE SCHATZ
Elenora Rose Schatz, daughter of Jonathan and Eugenie (Morgenstern) Steinert, was born November 17, 1914, at Milberger, Kansas, and departed this life October 13, 1982, at the Russell City Hospital at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 26 days.

A lifelong resident of Milberger and Russell, she was baptized and later confirmed in the Iowa Luthran Church which is now the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Milberger. In 1938 she came to Russell and during World War II, she moved to Wichita where she was employed at Boeing Aircraft. After the war she returned to Russell, was employed at C. O. Mammel's, Boogaarts and Suburban Cleaners. She retired in 1978 to center her interests in her home, family and church. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

To treasure and cherish her memory are two daughters, Bonnie Schatz of Russell, and Mrs. Frank (Connie) Kilian of Russell; father, Jonathan Steinert of Russell; two brothers, Hubert Steinert of Longmont, Colorado, and Lavern Steinert, of Russell; one granddaughter, Michelle Mitchell, Russell; two nieces, Cathy Deising and Carol Rice, both of Longmont, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother and one sister.
