Obituary of EDITH M. GRIFFITH |
Mrs. Edith M. Griffith, 42, died Saturday at 12:25 am at her home on R. 4
Parsons. Born May 31, 1909 near Labette, she was the daughter of George and Frances Robinson. In 1918 she moved to Oswego with her parents. She was married at Erie to Ernest M. Griffith and they moved to Parsons where they established their home. She is survived by her husband, three brothers, Harvey A. Robinson, Oswego; Cecil of Moundville, Mo. And James C of Hallowell; two sisters Mrs. Ethel Greenzweig. Rt. 4, Parsons and Mrs Eva Garretson, Cherryvale, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were held at 2:00 pm Monday at the Holiness church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. E. Douglas, Parsons. Burial was in Oswego Cemetery under the direction of Rude Funeral Home. |
