Obituary of SYLVANIUS KLEIN
Sylvanius Klein, 84, died Wednesday, September 19, 2001, at St. John's Rest Home, Victoria.

He was born January 1, 1917, at Pfeifer, the son of Adam J. and Magdalena Britt Klein. He married Leona Sander on August 20, 1940 at Pfeifer.

He was a former Pfeifer resident and lived in Wichita for 35 years working for the Lear Jet Corp. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary, and Lear Jet Retirement Association all of Wichita.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and one brother, Sylvester Klein.

Survivors include: his wife of Victoria, three sons, Edward Klein, Gorham, Harold Klein, Pretty Prairie, and Robert Klein, Wichita; two daughters, Patricia Schroeder, Wichita, and Donna Dinkel, Hays; three brothers, Alvin and Elmer Klein, both of Wichita, and Victor Klein, Hays; three sisters, Helen Dome and Irene Jacobs, both of Hays and Josepha Dome, Victoria, 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 22, at Holy Cross Catholic church, Pfeifer, with Fr. Reginald Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pfeifer.
Vigil service is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria.

Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to 9 :30 a.m. Saturday, all at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Charities, Inc., or Masses.
