Obituary of RALPH E. KUHN
Ralph E. Kuhn, 77, died Sunday, August 12, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Topeka.

He was born August 31, 1923, at Victoria, the son of August and Helen Dreiling Kuhn. He married Luella F. "Dolly" Welbrock on September 27, 1943, at Victoria. She preceded him in death August 12, 1999.

He spent his lifetime in Victoria. He worked for Esfeldt Oil Field Construction, Victoria Lumber Company, Dreiling Oil, Cross Manufacturing, and retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Victoria.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; one daughter, Geraldine Kuhn; one brother, Albert Kuhn; and one sister, Dolorosa Berens.

He is survived by one son, Raymond E. Kuhn, Russell; one daughter, Eileen Schmidt, Topeka; five brothers, Elmer and Louis Kuhn, both of Hays, Frank Kuhn, Victoria, James Kuhn, Topeka, and Clifford Kuhn, Oklahoma; five sisters, Leona Wellbrock, Victoria, Alice Haselhorst, Denver, Colorado, Merline Wellbrock, Great Bend, Ellen Dickerson, Oklahoma, and Norma Wellbrock, Hays; and five grandchildren.

Services are at 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, at St. Fidelis Catholic church, Victoria, with Fr. Maris Goetz Officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
Virgil service is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, and a Knights of Columbus rosary follows at 7:30 p.m., both at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria

Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, all at Cline's Mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to The Plaines Charitable Fund and masses.
