Obituary of MILDRED K. "MILLIE" GOETZ
Mildred K. "Millie" Goetz, 71, Victoria, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at her home in Victoria.

She was born September 5, 1930, at Victoria, to Alfons and Mary Windholz Kuhn. She married Edwin B. Patterson on June 25, 1951, at Victoria. He died July 1, 1957. She married Marvin D. Goetz, October 12, 1962, at Victoria. He survives.

She was the Victoria High School secretary and the USD No. 432 secretary for 16 years. She worked at St. John's Rest Home, Victoria, for a few years and was a volunteer at St. Fidelis Parish Center, Victoria, for 11 years.

She worked many years on family history and genealogy. She was a member of the Ellis County Historical Society; St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, and St. Fidelis Christian Mothers Altar Society, Victoria.

She was preceded in death by her first husband; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jill Patterson; one brother, Paul Kuhn; and one sister, Clara Kuhn.

Survivors include: her husband of the home; three sisters, Lenora Lang, Hays, Alice Dehart, Renton, Washington, and Cora Lou Ryan, Victoria.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, with Fr. David Gottschalk O.F.M. Cap. officiating.

Burial followed at St. Ann's Cemetery, Walker.
Memorials are suggested to family wishes or Masses.
